Kim Kardashian's Wedding Look

 Dear Divas

Sorry for my  over extended mentalphysical, emotional and personal hiatus from my blog....I've missed you all and I'm back and even more a FABOO-NISTA then ever so lets get it in DIVAS.....

With the FABOO Ms.Kim Kardashian preparing for her nuptials soon everyone is wondering what the FASHIONISTA is going to be wearing and what look will she be channeling. Wellllllllllll, if it were up to this DIVA I would  keep it SEXY but CLASSIC and give Kim K. a modernize the look from the

"Roaring Twenties"

heavily lined eyes and dark lips red lip

or to customize the look I would use a soft pink matte lip to make more bridal.

Here’s how you can make way to bring the 1920s back on your face.

  You'll Need the following:

  • Pancake or  thick creamy foundation
  • Makeup sponge
  • Dark eyebrow pencil
  • Eye makeup primer
  • Gray-based eyeshadow
  • Black charcoal eyeliner
  • Black mascara
  • Blush with touches of red in it
  • Waxy dark-red lip liner and lipstick (or any color of your choice)
  • Gradually thick at the end strip lash(optional)

  1. Apply a foundation in your skin tone that gives your complexion a creamy, perfect look. No matter what color your skin is naturally porcelain- or dark-toned, play it up. This kind of foundation give a FAB covering and finish
  2. Darken and turn your eyebrows slightly downward with an eyebrow pencil or eyeliner that is darker than your brow color. (*Remember not to overdo it because you’re customizing for yourself.)
  3. Smooth on your usual eye makeup primer or a 1 to 2 shades lighter concealer, then apply a dark gray-based eyeshadow from lash line to crease.
  4. Use black charcoal black eyeliner on both top and bottom lash lines. (* This is also a great ways to make your lashes appear full and luscious.)
  5. Color your top and bottom lashes with blackest black mascara. (*This is where you can also use lash with the mascara and if you really want to take it the use under lashes.)
  6. Rub blush into the apples of your cheeks, and blend away the hard edges. Make sure the color is apparent, not clown like but visible.
  7. Apply pale pancake foundation over clean and exfoliated lips. (*Here you can use concealer as well in place of the pancake foundation.) With a waxy dark-red lip liner (or a coordinating lipstick color of your choice), overstress the peaks on the top of your lips. Draw your lower lip as slightly plumper than it really is by extending slightly on the bottom. Draw both upper and bottom lips as shorter on the sides.
  8. Fill the new lip shape in with pencil before layering matching lipstick over it. When you are through, your lips should not be as wide as they really are, giving the illusion that you have them puckered.

Once you finish take a pic and take your new
look out for a spin….

Until next Time Stay Fab….Muah

Your Skin’s NEW Friend~ BLUSH "A MUST"

Dear Divas,

Blush is like lashes or good mascara it is a must to completely
FAB LOOK.

As far as blush goes, most women fall into three categories:

1.   Either they can't live without it
This is a mess...but some people just go to far.

 2. Shy away from  it because they worry they'll look like Homie the clown from  In Living Color

3.   Or they like it on others but feel that it not for them.

Well I must say that I think everyone looks HAWT with blush….

(**DISCLAIMER….LOL)

IF IT IS THE RIGHT COLOR AND APPLIED CORRECTLY.

Blush is the easiest way to look so add a quick sun kissed pretty touch to your makeup that will make you look absolutely radiant.

But….Firrrrrrrrrrrst

I’ll tell you this about picking the perfect shade of blush isn't really hard but it is necessary. The right color should work with your complexion and look like your cheeks when you exercise or actually blushed (like smile or are shamed by someone lol). Once you feel like you’ve found one, make sure you have the right applicator. However, if you have to work hard to blend your blush, the color could be too dark or too bright, but you can use your press powder to tone it down.

Here are some quick notes that you can refer back to.

Extra light skin: Pale pink or pastel apricot. But skip brown-toned blush because on this kind of skin it will look more like dirt on your skin then radiant.

Fair skin: Sandy pink tones.

Medium skin: Tawny brownish pinks.

Tan /Dark: Deeper brownish rose, plum, golden brown.

Deep skin: Dark or deep bronze or deep red -- if skin is very dark.

**Note: Bronzers or Golden tones mixed in or paired  in any of these skin types is absolutely beautiful (I DO THIS REGULARLY)….But again don’t (DO NOT) over do it.

Blush comes in a range of different formulas -- like powders, creams and gels.

Powders: These formulas work best on normal to oily skin but is definitely limited to these skin types.

Cream or Gel: If skin tends to be dry you may want to consider using a cream or gel blush. These will also give you more of a dewy, natural look.

How to Apply:

When applying powder blush, smile and sweep blush over the apples of cheeks. Blend color outward and upward into the hairline, then downward for the most natural effect. To keep from looking washed out in an hour, I like to add a pop of a brighter color just on the apple of the cheeks. The same basic technique applies when using cream and gel blush, dot it on the apple of the cheek and use your finger to blend it up to the hairline and down.

Always remember that blush should NOT be applied on the upper side of the cheekbones, because it will mess up your makeup and make the skin under the eye look puffy. Here’s a good tip; blush should be used to contour and highlight which takes using two shades to achieve this look. The darker shade should be used on the hollow of the cheek (this is the underside of the cheekbones) applied in an upward motion from the hollow to the temple. Then the lighter shade applied to the apple of the cheek. The purpose is to add slight color and dimension to your face, apply it lightly so that it looks natural, too much will detract.

**Important Hint: When your blush compact comes with a brush, throw it away, because normally they are too short, narrow and will only leave you with stripes of color all over your cheeks. A good blush brush should have a wide, rounded shape and angled sides.

Remember this blush is that little added piece to your makeup that helps to complement and smile that is already accompanied with the perfect lipstick or gloss. Together with blush your face will look sun kissed and dewy which will leave everyone speechless and wondering what it is about you that looks so different but they just can’t put there finger on it…..and in the words of the Dad on the This Is It commercial instead of the RIBTIPS…..IT’S THE BLUSSSSSHHHH….LOL

This week I leave you with this now that you have learn to use blush “SMILE” more cause just like in Kirk Franklin’s song say’s You LOOK SOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER WHEN YOU SMILE; SO SMILE…..muuaaahhh Divas

SMILE  in the mist all and learn to dance in the RAIN cause the most beautiful RAINBOWS come out after a heavy RAIN.

Always Smiling,

Supplely Soft & Smooth Skin Tips the Bestest Skin Year Round

Ok, so while we may not all look like this;
we can all have skin like this and here's how.
Dear Divas,

         With summer seemingly shaping up to be one of the hottest ever lightweight and little to know clothes are going to be worn. That being said;

there’s nothing WORST than dry, ashy, cracked, and crusty; feet, skin hands, or lips but we covered lips last week.
So give your skin some TLC to get in touchable shape.

Because with heat on the rise so are the hems of the dresses, shorts, skirts, shirts, and more importantly cute sandals and heels. Don’t get caught out there with crusty anything!

Smh.....Lord...Lord....Lord she should be ashamed...
Even though I have seen some of heels that look these
bad and be honest so have you! lol

Here are 9 Fabulous Skin Tips

1.    They say that some like it HOT well your Skin likes it lukewarm.

A hot shower or bath feels great (because some of you think you have to burn or boil the dirt off....smh....lol), but actually  hot water robs your skin of its natural moisture, making it scaly and rough. Switch to a lukewarm soak or shower instead, to keep skin supple.

2. Start a moisturizing routine.

Regularly hydrating your skin makes soft skin, especially in dry air and extreme temperatures can dry out skin quickly. Apply moisturizer every time your skin gets wet: after washing your hands, getting out of the shower.

3. Try using a smoothing body lotion.
When moisturizing, while smell good lotions, well smell good (sorry but its true), but it’s important to look for a lotion that contains smoothing ingredients like salicylic or alpha-hydroxy acids.

4. Use socks and ol’skool Vaseline as your feets secret weapons.
Believe it or not this came like this.

Secret softening weapons for your feet as they can become cracked, rough, and dry overtime from neglect. When you get home, remove shoes and socks and apply some Vaseline. Then replace your socks as you do your evening chores. The heat of the socks will help the Vaseline  to penetrate, softening your soles easily.

This is my one of my FAVORITE
Seeeeeeeee it works

5. Don’t go that Natural....Keep shaving.

But of course I would have find a
DIVA razor (lol)
Believe it or not, regular shaving (even when it's not always necessary) helps skin stay soft because it manually removes a layer of dead, dry skin cells, revealing healthier, softer cells. Use your razor at least (2x) twice a week for best results.
Lol...Yea this pic is a little extreme but you get point.

6. Begin using an AHA face lotion.

See how great it works on my face.
These products are perfect for making facial skin smooth and soft. Initial use can cause flaking, however, so don't start a new regimen right before a big event because it takes time for a new regiment  to show it results.

7. Consider a body scrub.

To help make every part of you soft, including your chest, décolleté, back, and elbows, use a shower scrub that contains sloughing particles to whisk away dead skin cells, plus a soft fragrance to give your skin allure. A good one: Body Scrub or you can make you own with sugar or sand, your favorite body oil...this will make you feel soooo smooth ). This is another

One of my FAVS that I used regularly

8. Beware CHEAP WATERED DOWN OR HARSH SOAPS.
Like those that are found in public or corporate restrooms can contain harsh detergents that are drying to skin; the same goes for some deodorant body bars. Instead, stick to more gentle cleansers (carry a mini bottle in your purse), like Cetaphil, which is also great for esema  and severely dark skin which those soaps can cause.

9. Treat cuticles right.

They're one of the first areas on the body to dry out and become scaly and scratchy, which can put a damper on any event if someone looks at your self polished  or just polish changed nails or toes and sees the white or in some cases yellowish gray layering around the nail bed . To combat this and replenish easily lost moisture, use a cuticle cream or oil daily.

**Quick note as you take heed to these tips; get smaller contains to pour some into from the larger packaging to carry with you on a daily which saves money and your skin. Remember like with your hair, body, skin, clothes, car, teeth you name it; they are only as good to you as you are to them. They need a regiment to represent you the best way possible.

In closing I leave you  with this spoken by my Fabulously Fly Diva Mama the late Great Felisia Michelle McKee said days before her death, “Take care of your body it’s the only one you have; mine has turned on me cause I didn’t start earlier in life”. My mother died February 22, 2011 at the young age of 47 of congestive heart failure that she was only diagnosed with a year in a half prior. This experience solidified my dedication to take care of myself and to help others learn to do the same and be FABULOUSLY FLY in their own right. RIP (my reallifeDIVA) my Mama….

I love you Divas Always and Forever FAB
